After the purchase is made on the Shop/Order Page , I will need photo(s) of your pet (the clearer the better) before I start. If you are ordering a portrait with more than one pet, don't worry about getting both in the same photo. I can work from separate photos just fine. Please email your photos to bethany@petportraitsbybethany.com along with your background color preference. I will get back to you promptly and confirm your expectations and timeline.
Lead time is usually 3-4 weeks, except for the Holiday season (Nov-Jan), which can be up to 8 weeks (order early if you want a Christmas gift. Rush orders of just 1-2 weeks are available with fee, just ask.
Before shipping I will email a photo of your new work of art for approval or any final minor adjustments, free of charge. The painting will be packed in a professional manner to protect it and will USPS priority in most cases.

Refund Policy
Customer satisfaction is VERY important to me. Before shipping I will send you a digital photograph of your new work of art for approval or any final adjustments, free of charge (within reason). Unfortunately, I cannot offer returns or exchanges on pet portraits due to their custom nature and the many hours that go into making them. I will work with you to make sure your portrait captures your pet's essence and exceeds your expectations!
Meet the Artist
I am Bethany Salisbury of Pet Portraits by Bethany. I draw, I paint, I design. I portray the world less seriously and more playfully through my work. I received a BFA in Illustration in 2009 and am currently pursusing my MFA and have been painting Pet Portraits for 10 years. I've painted nearly 3,000 custom orders of dogs, cats, horses, birds, people, and other animals in that time.
